Hi! I'm Amanda Cherkauskas, I'm 30 years old and married. I was born in Campos do Jordão, I lived in Santo Antonio do Pinhal with my family until 2007. I have two sisters Aline and Andressa, they gave me the best gifts my niece and nephews! My family still there, I love that small town, but I always knew it wouldn't be my place there. I dreamed a lot about traveling and knowing the world, and many laughed at me! Well, in 2007 I started my business degree at UNITAU in Taubaté, SP and moved there. I can say the college was for sure the hardest time of my life financially speak, no doubt about those years was the most lived years of my life, I don't regret anything. I have many good memories of everything, good and bad things that make me who I am today!! Taubaté always brings me good memories of friendships, professional and personal growth that would surely stay forever in my heart. I lived in Taubaté for six years, until 2013 then I decided to go to the US and embark in the Au Pair program. On May 20, 2013, I first arrived in the USA with the intention of staying only one year, but decided to stay in the Au Pair program for 2 years with the same family. Some people ask me why Au Pair? Well, My family and I were never rich, I always worked hard to get everything I have, so this was the cheapest program at the time so I could travel abroad and stay longer. When I finished my program I realized that this was my place, I love Brazil, I miss it a lot, but unfortunately financially I was not happy in Brazil. I decided to stay in the USA and seek to realize my dreams. Today, I still live in the US in Washington State, which I love so much. I have never been illegal here, I have been an Au Pair, completed my MBA in Philadelphia, then in 2017 got married.
